Pho 99 Restaurant in Coquitlam

GREEN ZIPTIE IN SOUP. Normally this place is half decent, so we went and got take out. Bought the soup/noodle home in the separate container provided, put everything in a pot to reboil. Poured it out in to a bowl find a GREEN ZIPTIE in the noodle. This is basically a semi hard plastic stick. NOT OK. This is a serious choking hazard if it was given to a child.

Go there regularly. Always consistent.

Food is ok you get what you pay for. service still needs work.

Great food! Service can be fast or a bit slow at times, but can't go wrong with Order 65!

I've tried a lot of their food and everything tastes good. The portion is good for the price. The recent renovation looks good too.

This place is often busy but they are quick to serve you. The waiters have always been nice and are happy to make small changes to accommodate dietary restrictions.

The pho broth was watered down with almost no seasoning. The salad roll sauce had almost no peanut in it and the slow service will have us going somewhere else next time.

Good service. But unfortunately the pho is lacking. The broth is too salty and seems to be pre flavored and not from real beef stock. Which is a shame because the cleanliness and the restaurant itself is good.

Good place to sit down quickly no matter how large your group is. Food comes fast, and the soup is great here. Flavorful and decent portions. 11$ for a large bowl of pho. Service is friendly and restaurant is clean. Best thing is that it's open late until 11pm or 12am depending on the day.

We brought in our family and received fast service and the waitresses were very kind. I loved their wide selection of food. The place was very clean and great for families. I recommend this location for everyone to try out.

Incredibly rude service. I asked for extra fish sauce and was rudely told by the waitress (as if being scolded like a child) that it was now my second time requesting it, and had to pay for it as well. I'm not cheap, but this is the first Vietnamese restaurant that charged me for sauces. First of all, your restaurant serves a miniscule amount of fish sauce - barely enough to flavour any of your already bland dishes. Second, very unprofessional response from your waitress. She needs to get educated on how to interact properly with patrons. Hopefully she doesn't become a manager or someone of a position of leadership and responsibility.The restaurant is also rather unclean. Absolutely disgusting. Cleanliness is just as important as the quality of service and food being provided and served, respectively. Never returning here.

Food:Ordered #73. Vermicelli was alright, meat portions were good. Service:Average. Especially if the place is busy.Price:Not too bad, given relatively good quality of food and the relatively large portion of food.Would I recommend?Yes. Go when there's less people.

The customer service was good and we got our meals fast. The place was nice and very clean. The food was also amazing and fresh.

Friendly staff, clean dining area, tasty pho

A big bowl of broth with very little noodles, very little beef and very little added into the soup. Not worth the price won't go back Pho99 has become a terrible restaurant. When I went in the bathroom in the men's room was plugged. Couldn't flush the toilet. And there was two pieces of paper left on the roll for drying my hands. Unacceptable third world country standards

Service was rather slow and the pho is pretty average. It's okay for a quick bite before or after a movie.

Last week I went to the pho 99 for dinner with some friends. I was surprised of the renovation. The restaurant look so nice and fancy also very clean even though it always busy. I loved the food so much. It’s always delicious and the service so friendly they never let me down. This is the best pho 99 ever. Everyone should come and try there.👍💯

Broth is tasty. Skimpy on the ingredients and the sprouts/basil for our soups. Good chain but this location isn't operating at the same standard as other locations I've been to (Burnaby, Richmond).

I have been coming here ever since it's grand opening and there have been good days and bad days but today I seems to have another bad day. I was there between 4~5pm. When I was half way through the meal, it stared smell like detergent or bleach in the air. I lost my appetite, but I tried to ignore and managed to finish. When I finally turned around to see where this unpleasant smell came from, several servers were busy wiping chairs and tables with wet clothes and buckets on the side (must be filled with bleach+ water). They were all nearby my table and no wonder this bleach smell never go away but got stronger. It must have been good time to clean chairs and tables before it gets busy in the evening but no one appreciate the smell of bleach and food at the same time. I became very annoyed and even at the end, the cashier was rude as well.

pho 99 . i will give 4 out of 10. Good service. Low quality Food for perimum price.

Terrible experience, very unfriendly staff and bad management lately. We were clients for over 5-6 years there, over last year we started to experience systematically lowering standards all over: not fresh dishes and meat! other time stale sprouts, lack of lime and/or jalapeno peppers and/or other listed in menu ingredients. Next time staff arguing and on an end trying to charge us for package for leftovers.... It was below any standard. If you want eat fresh, good dinner in nice atmosphere - DO NOT GO THERE! From us "-10" points if we could, we never experienced so bad service in any restaurant!

Been here a few times. Once there was a hair in my food. I told them about it, they remade the food but then charged me full price anyway.... who does that? lol. I'd advise going to another location if possible.

I consider myself a bit of a pho connoisseur. To my taste buds, the broth lacks a depth of flavour that is present at many other places in the lower mainland. But the place is clean and service was good.

Really enjoyed the food and good service. We were a walk in table of 11 and our food al came in great timing. Everyone enjoyed their dishes, and the prices were fair. Quick service, courteous throughout.

Great food for the price

Pretty good Vietnam pho for a decent price. The only thing I want to complain about is the tiny unsliced jelopino they gave me. Seriously you might as well not given me any.

Do not go here! My mom ordered a seafood soup and they mixed in with the meat soup when she does not eat meat and she actually found a piece of meat bone in her soup and shrimp tails! They also ran out of shrimp for the salad rolls and gave us chicken rolls instead...which tasted so bad! We lost our appetite completely...their kitchen doesn’t seem to be very clean...and I would not come back...

Waited 20+ mins just to have a piece of curly hair on my chicken rice dish. The chicken taste like they left it out for 10+ hours. Horrible. Advise either don't eat here or just order Pho.

Great Vietnamese restaurant, with a wide variety of selection of dishes, and vegetarian options. I stumbled upon this place while looking for a quick bite, while doing some yard work. The veggie sub, iced coffee, and lemonade will totally replenish your energy for the rest of the day. Might stop by again from Vancouver. Hehe.

For all pho lovers out there; this place is an absolute abomination for pho. The portion sizing for a large specialty pho only gave me 3 pieces of meat and no veggies. The only thing they didn't cheap out on was the onions and noodles. The workers were nice but other than that I was stunned that this is what they consider a "large" pho. Least favourite Pho 99 without question.

The restaurant had a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere. Additionally the waitresses were very kind and brought us our food fast. Additionally, the place was very clean. I recommend their banh mi’s and pho because they were outstanding.

Food is always fast and good here. But service.. i guess just like any other asian restaurants.. there is always that one or two servers that will ruin it

Food came within a few minutes of me ordering. And it tastes great!

This branch has a lot of seating and parking available. The service is good and delivery was fast. I usually order the lemongrass Chicken in this place and it has a unique taste compared to other getting Annie's restaurants that I've been to. I have also eaten the pho here and it is also very delicious and the service is very fast.
